Dr. Pravin Kahale is a well?recognized Cardiologist with more than 27 years of professional experience. He has performed over 4,000 cardiac procedures and 1,700 cardiac catheter procedures. He achieved a milestone by performing India's first primary angioplasty using a biodegradable scaffold. Dr. Kahale is known for his precise diagnostic skills and empathetic patient care. He provides a high success rate for procedures such as complex angioplasty, implantation of biodegradable scaffolds, pacemaker implantation, automated intracardiac defibrillator (AICD), and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). His specialty areas include: Heart Failure Assessment and Management Mechanical Assist Device (Artificial Heart) Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) Rotablation Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) Heart Transplant Follow-up Pulmonary Hypertension Dr. Kahale completed his MBBS from Government Medical Coll. and Hosp., Nagpur, in 1997. He earned an MD in General Medicine from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical Coll., Sion, in 2000. Additionally, he completed his DM in Cardiology at Topiwala National Medical Coll. (TNMC) and Nair Hosp., Mumbai, in 2004. Dr. Kahale has served as internationally trained in various cardiac procedures. He received advanced advanced training in Cardiac Resynchronization (Complex Pacemaker) from Germany and in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant from the Univ. Hosp. Chicago, USA. He also holds a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from the Rambam Medical Center, Israel. Dr. Kahale has served as involved in research, participated in various workshops, and has published numerous publications in the field of Cardiology.
