• Dr. Prem Prakash Varma is a highly experienced and renowned Nephrologist.
• He has more than 49 years of experience in this field.
• His expertise lies in treating various nephrology conditions, including kidney stones, acute kidney diseases, etc.
• He has expertise in performing Renal transplants and Kidney Biopsies.
• He has successfully performed over 1000 renal transplants and over 1000 kidney biopsies so far.
• For his excellent contribution to the field of nephrology, he was awarded the prestigious awards ‘Ati Shish Seva Medal,’ ‘Vishisht Seva Medal,’ and ‘Sena Medal’ by the President of India in 2015, 2012 & 2010, respectively.
• Dr. Prem completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and MD in Medicine from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.
• After this, he completed a DNB in Medicine from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi, and a DM in Nephrology from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
• He also completed a DNB in Nephrology from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi, and an MNAMS in Nephrology from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi.
• He is an active member of the Delhi Society of Nephrology, the Indian Society of Nephrology, the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation, and the Indian Society of Peritoneal Dialysis.
• He has over 60 published papers,14 textbook chapters, and 14 International publications.
