Dr. Puneet Ahluwalia is an esteemed Urologist with more than 23 years of professional experience. His expertise includes Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, Robotic Partial Nephrectomy, Robotic Radical Cystectomy with intracorporeal diversion, Robotic Adrenalectomy, Robotic Retroperitoneal Lymph node dissection, and Robotic VEIL. Since 2014, he has served as performing complex Robotic Uro-Oncological cases, having performed over 1000 robotic surgeries as a console surgeon. He performed the first Robotic Radical Prostatectomy and Robotic Radical Cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion at a corporate Hosp. in Uttar Pradesh. After completing his MBBS from Baba Farid Univ. of Health Sciences in 2001, he also achieved an MS in General Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi Univ. of Health Sciences in 2006 and an MCh (Urology/Genito-Urinary Surgery) from Amrita Inst. of Medical Sciences and Research Centre in 2014. He further achieved a Fellowship from Urologic Oncology Mie Univ., Japan, 2014, a Clinical Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Urology and Robotic Surgery from Medanta The Medicity, 2015, and an Advanced Robotic Urological Surgery Fellowship from the Univ. of Miami, 2016. Dr. Ahluwalia is among the pioneering fellowship-trained robotic surgeons in India, specializing in Robotic Urology & Uro-Oncology. With extensive professional experience from leading national and international institutes, he focuses on advanced robotic surgery for urological cancers. He is a certified proctor for Intuitive Surgical USA (Da Vinci Robots) and has played a key role in establishing robotic surgery programs across India. He trains urologists nationwide in complex Robotic Uro-Oncological procedures and serves as a Program Director for fellowship programs recognized by the Urological Society of India (USI) and Vattikuti Foundation MI, USA. Dr. Ahluwalia is actively involved in research, with numerous publications in national & international journals and presentations at prestigious conferences. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals and convenes the Delhi Uro-Oncology Forum. He is an active part of the Urological Society of India (USI), Delhi Urological Society, North Zone Urological Society of India, and Society of GenitoUrinary Oncologist (SOGO) India.
