Dr. R Anil Kumar is a highly acknowledged Cardiologist known for his specialization in both clinical and academic Cardiology. He brings over 25 years of professional experience in this field. His expertise lies in coronary interventions, balloon valvuloplasty, pacemakers, and defibrillators. His extensive advanced training has taken place in well?recognized medical institutes in India, with an MBBS and MD from JIPMER, Pondicherry, followed by DM Cardiology from G B Pant Hosp., Delhi, and MRCP from the UK. Dr. Kumar holds fellowships from the Royal Coll. of Physicians (Edinburgh), the Cardiological Society of India, and the American Coll. of Cardiology. He gained valuable professional experience at the Freeman Hosp., Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, with a focus on Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Kumar has served as featured in notable news media outlets such as ET Health World and The Times of India. His contributions include initiating the first overseas chapter of the Cardiological Society of India in Dubai, UAE. Dr. Kumar pioneered programs involving percutaneous coronary interventions, stenting, and radiofrequency ablations of cardiac arrhythmias.
