Dr. Rahul Shetty is a highly accomplished plastic surgeon with more than 25 years of professional experience in the field. Dr. Shetty is experienced in a wide range of plastic and reconstructive procedures, including abdominoplasty, hair transplant, and burn surgery. He obtained his MBBS from the Univ. of Mysore, India, in 1999, followed by an MS in General Surgery in 2006 from Kempegowda Inst. of Medical Sciences, Bangalore. Dr. Shetty further specialized in plastic surgery, earning an M.Ch (Masters in Surgery) in Plastic Surgery from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical Univ. (TNMGRMU) in 2012 and a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Plastic Surgery from the National Board of Examination, India in 2014. He holds certifications in microsurgery from Ethicon, USA. Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including a gold medal during his M.Ch program for outstanding academic performance, winning the All India Plastic Surgery Quiz in 2011, and receiving the best publication accolade in 2012. Dr. Shetty is also an accomplished writer who has published academic pieces in both local and foreign journals. He is a popular speaker at medical conferences. He is a part of prestigious organizations such as the Karnataka Medical Council and the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India.
