Dr. Raja Dhar is skilled in every area of respiratory medicine. He brings over 30 years of specialization in pulmonology, critical medical management, and interventional pulmonology. He is skilled in all areas of respiratory medicine, including transplant, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, sleep medicine, lung infections, including tuberculosis, and respiratory emergencies. His specialization is Interventional Pulmonology, which includes Medical Thoracoscopy, APC, Cryotherapy, Stent Placement, and Electrocautery. He also gives his expert opinion on Rare stroke orphan lung diseases Interstitial Lung Disease Asthma & Allergy COPD Advanced Lung Function services Interventional & Diagnostic Pulmonology His credentials include MBBS (California), MD (Respiratory Medicine), and M.Sc. (evidence?led Medicine, UK). In December 2008, he returned to his native Kolkata, India, where he took up the role of respiratory consultant. He is an enthusiastic scholar and researcher who has a strong love for teaching. He was a key contributor to the ILD India Guidelines, which were developed at Asthma Bhawan in Jaipur with support from the ICS and NCCP. He is currently in charge of the group creating the recommendations for the ICS Adult Residual Vaccination. He has participated in the development of the national recommendations for bronchoscopy, COPD, spirometry, and pneumonia under the sponsorship of the Indian Chest Society (ICS). He has a significant part in creating the curriculum's modules as a part of the ICS Governing Body.
