Dr. Rajesh Taneja is an esteemed Urologist with more than 38 years of professional experience. He focuses on female and pediatric urology and excels in advanced techniques such as cryosurgical ablation of prostate and renal lesions and robotically assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, providing minimally invasive options for prostate cancer treatment. After completing his MBBS from the Univ. of Delhi in 1986, he also achieved an MS (General Surgery) from the Univ. of Delhi in 1990 and an MCh (Urology) from the All India Inst. of Medical Sciences in 1994. Additionally, Dr. Taneja is well?recognized in the field of urinary stone disease, pioneering procedures such as Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) since 1988 and introducing Mini-PCNL (Miniperc) in 2004. Dr. Taneja is a pioneer in functional urology, with original work on Interstitial Cystitis recognized globally. He has chaired the education committee of the European Society for the Study of Interstitial Cystitis (ESSIC) and founded the Global Interstitial Cystitis Bladder Pain Society (GIBS). Serving as a mentor for Holmium Laser Enucleation Prostate (HOLEP), Dr. Taneja has trained numerous urologists across the country since 2004. He also serves as a 'Proctor' for Da Vinci's Robotic prostatectomy for Cancer of the Prostate. He is a part of the Indian Journal Of Urology and Delhi Tumor Board. He is a founder a fellow of the Geriatric Society of India.
