Dr. Rajiv Parakh

About Us

Dr. Rajiv Parakh is a Peripheral Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with more than 43 years of professional experience. His expertise lies in Endovascular Interventions, Endovascular Repair of Aneurysm, Carotid Surgery, Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, Vascular Trauma, etc. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from G B Pant Hosp. / Maulana Azad Medical Coll., New Delhi, 1981, and an MS (General Surgery) from G B Pant Hosp. / Maulana Azad Medical Coll., New Delhi, 1986 He also earned a Fellowship of the Royal Coll. of Surgeons (FRCS), UK, in 1987 and underwent specialized advanced training in Vascular Surgery in the UK. He established one of India’s initial independent Vascular Surgery Departments in 1990. Dr. Parakh co-founded the Vascular Society of India and the Endo-vascular Intervention Society of India. He also served as Secretary of the International Society for Vascular Surgery, New York, USA, in 2007. He pioneered the first government-recognized teaching program in vascular surgery accredited by the NBE. He holds a Life Membership with the Society of Vascular Surgery.
