Dr. Rana Patir is a prominent figure in the field of neurosurgery in India. With a career spanning 30 years, Dr. Patir has focused extensively on brain tumor surgeries and has successfully completed over 10,000 neurological procedures. He focuses on various types of brain surgeries, such as those for brain tumors, meningiomas, and brain stem tumors, alongside deep brain stimulation surgery. His expertise extends to a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, including epilepsy surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, neuromodulation for pain management, skull base surgery, and neurovascular surgery. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from AIIMS, New Delhi. After this, he completed an MCh in Neurology from AIIMS, New Delhi. His professional interests encompass a broad spectrum of neurosurgical techniques, including spine surgery, endoscopic surgery, stereotactic surgery for movement disorders, and complex head and neck procedures.
