Dr. Rathijit Mitra is a well-known neurosurgeon with nationwide as well as international professional experience. Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical Coll. in Raipur to get his MBBS. Subsequently, he obtained his MRCS at Ireland's Royal Coll. of Surgeons in Dublin from 2005 to 2009. He acquired the FEBNS in Neurological Surgery from the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies between 2012 and 2020. Also, he completed his FRCSEd in Neurological Surgery Residency at the Royal Coll. of Surgeons of Edinburgh between 2012 and 2021. He had intensive advanced training in neurosurgery at the UK's Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and the Royal Hallamshire Hosp. in Sheffield. He completed fellowships in spinal neurosurgery at Salford Royal Hosp., Pediatric neurosurgery at John Radcliffe Hosp. in Oxford, and the neurocritical care unit at Addenbrooke's Hosp. in Cambridge. He is an active part of prominent associations, including the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies, the Society of British Neurological Surgeons, and the AO Spine.
