• Dr. Rishabh Kumar is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist with over 12 years of experience.
• He specializes in utilizing advanced radiation technologies for Brain, Head, and Neck, Breast, Gastrointestinal, and Gynecological cancers, etc.
• He is proficient in various brachytherapy techniques for Breast, Sarcomas, Cervix, Prostate, Lung, and Liver cancers, as well as IGRT SRS and SBRT treatments.
• His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences/Pondicherry University in 2012 and an MD (Radiation Oncology) from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences/Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences), in 2017.
• Dr. Kumar received specialized training to administer personalized, high-precision radiation therapy with minimal side effects.
• He commissioned Stereotactic programs in ablative radiotherapy at ILBS Delhi, leading to significant publications in Liver SBRT for Hepatocellular carcinomas.
• He was instrumental in implementing MRI-guided Brachytherapy for cervical cancer and conducted pioneering research in liver brachytherapy and HPV/telomerase roles in cancers.
• He received the MC Pant Gold Medal for outstanding research in Radiation Oncology in 2016
• Dr. Kumar was awarded a technology transfer grant by the European Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology for advanced training in Cyberknife-based SRS and SBRT, proton therapy, and Hyperthermia at ERASMUS.
• He was recognized with the Best Young Radiation Oncologist award and GC Pant Gold Medal at AROICON Ahmedabad 2019 for research contributions.
• He contributed to the Low Dose Radiation for COVID-19 trial at AIIMS New Delhi.
• Dr. Kumar is involved in developing breast brachytherapy guidelines by the Indian Brachytherapy Society.
• He is fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.
