About Us

• Dr. Rohit Mehtani, a distinguished Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, boasts over 10 years of experience.
• His expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of liver diseases, including acute liver failure (ALF), cirrhosis, autoimmune liver diseases, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and liver diseases during pregnancy.
• He has provided comprehensive care to more than 200 liver transplant recipients.
• After completing his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, 2014, he also achieved MD (Medicine) from MGM Medical College, Indore, 2018, and DM (Hepatology) from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, 2021.
• He holds the rare distinction of being one of the few DM hepatology-trained doctors nationwide.
• He graduated as the top student in his DM exit exams from the esteemed Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
• In 2022, Dr. Mehtani underwent specialized training in Transplant Hepatology at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, the busiest living donor liver transplant center in India.
• Dr. Mehtani actively contributed to the development of neuromonitoring protocols for ICU patients with liver diseases during his tenure at PGIMER Chandigarh, a research effort acknowledged in the prestigious journal Metabolic Brain Diseases.
• As a dedicated researcher and academician, he has authored over 30 publications and book chapters, earning recognition from international societies with grants and invitations to present his work.
• He holds membership in prominent international organizations such as the American Association for Study of Liver (AASLD), European Association for Study of Liver (EASL), and the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS), among others.
• He is fluent in English and Hindi.
