About Us

Dr. S Palaniappan is a highly esteemed and experienced Medical Gastroenterologist. He has served as practicing successfully for more than 34 years. He focuses on ERCP, EUS, and Endoscopy procedures. He is skilled in Interventional Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and Stenting for Esophageal and Colonic Bile Duct issues. Dr. S. Palaniappan completed his MBBS from Tanjore Medical Coll. and MD in General Medicine from Madras Medical Coll., Chennai. After this, he completed an MCh in Gastroenterology from Stanley Medical Coll. & Hosp., Chennai. He provides treatment for a wide range of gastrointestinal ailments, including Liver diseases, Stomach problems, Diarrhoeal diseases, Hematemesis or hematochezia, Jaundice, Acidity Ulcer problems, Dysphagia, Pancreas problems, and Gallstone diseases. He pioneered Endoscopic Ultrasonography [EUS] in Tamil Nadu. He actively participates in workshops and conferences, presenting publications on topics such as ERCP in CBD stone and EUS in pancreas lesions. He holds memberships in the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Indian Society of Gastroenterology.
