• Dr. Sahil Gaba, an esteemed Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon, boasts over 13 years of experience.
• He specializes in the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) to the hip for hip replacement, employing both manual and robotic techniques.
• He is proficient in Partial Knee replacement methods and is skilled in both manual and robotic approaches.
• After completing his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, 2011, he also achieved MS (Orthopaedics) from Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College and Hospital, 2014.
• Following his post-graduation, he served as a Senior Resident at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi for a span of 3 years.
• During his tenure at AIIMS, he fostered a profound interest in Hip and Knee replacement surgery.
• He also achieved a Fellowship in CS Goyal Adult Reconstruction, Rajasthan Orthopaedic Surgeons Association (ROSA), 2018, and a Fellowship in Hip Arthroscopy and Hip Arthroplasty, St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, Australia, 2018.
• In 2018, he embarked on a journey to Aberdeen, UK, for advanced training, completing a Fellowship in Orthopaedics Trauma, Fellowship in Lower Limb Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy, and Fellowship in Robotic Hip and Knee Arthroplasty.
• His tenure in Aberdeen provided him with extensive exposure to managing hip and knee disorders and performing intricate and revision surgeries.
• His quest for excellence led him to pursue a fellowship in Hip surgery in Melbourne, Australia, and a traveling fellowship in Pune, India.
• Notably, he was handpicked for the United Kingdom's pioneering Robotic Hip and Knee Fellowship program in 2021.
• Dr. Gaba holds the distinction of being the inaugural Robotic Hip and Knee Fellow of Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen, and the first Indian Orthopaedic surgeon to accomplish a year-long Robotics fellowship in the UK.
• He attained his Robotics certification from Cambridge, UK.
• Dr. Gaba has contributed to the field with over 35 publications in esteemed national and international journals, along with several book chapters.
