Dr. Samanjoy Mukherjee, a prominent Cardiologist, brings 33 years of professional experience to his practice. His expertise covers various cardiac services, including treatment for Carotid Artery Disease, Cardiac Catheterization, 2D-Echocardiography (2D-Echo), Cardioversion, and Cardiac Ablation. He has vast professional experience in complex coronary angioplasties, especially Left main and bifurcation lesions, Rotablation, and Chronic total occlusion. Dr. Mukherjee is well-versed in balloon mitral valvulotomy, device closure of septal defects, peripheral and carotid interventions, electrophysiology and radiofrequency ablations, pacemaker implantation, and CRT. He has served as actively involved in Stem cell research and performed the first Autologous Stem Cell therapy study in Nonischemic Dilated Cardiomyopathy. After completing his MBBS from the Univ. of North Bengal in 1991, he also achieved an MD (General Medicine) from the Manipal Academy Of Higher Education, Manipal, India, in 1994 and a DM (Cardiology) from the Univ. of Delhi in 2001. He is an esteemed part of several professional associations, including the Association of Physicians of India (API), the Indian Medical Association (IMA), and the Cardiological Society of India (CSI).
