Dr. Sameer Kaushal is a qualified Ophthalmologist with more than 24 years of professional experience. He also honed his skills in treating various eye conditions, particularly focusing on corneal disorders. He has accumulated valuable professional experience in performing a range of eye surgeries, specializing in anterior segment surgeries. Notable procedures include phaco surgery for cataracts, LASIK, and corneal transplantation. Dr. Kaushal has pioneered new techniques, including innovative surgical procedures and minimally invasive treatments. His His expertise encompasses advanced treatment modalities, such as sutureless corneal transplants and artificial corneas. With both his undergraduate and postgraduate education from AIIMS, New Delhi, he dedicated several years to the Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery Unit. He actively contributes to the field and has engaged in teaching and research activities. Dr. Kaushal has authored multiple research publications published in various international journals, showcasing his commitment to advancing eye care. Driven by innovation, his contributions extend to co-authoring books on LASIK, Corneal transplantation, and surgical video DVD in the book "Management of Corneal Ulcer." He has also been a teaching faculty member at various national workshops on cornea. He is an active part of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), All India Ophthalmological Society, Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS), and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).
