Dr Samir Kumar Ray is a well-known and accomplished gynecologist and obstetrician with about 38 years of professional experience. His professional experience is through numerous workshops and courses he has attended, along with multiple practices across the UK and India. Dr Ray is an an expert in endoscopic surgery and is well-known for services such as: Unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) Diseases in Pregnancy Dr Ray's medical journey began with MBBS at Calcutta National Medical Coll. in 1986. He went on to gain specializations through Diploma, MS, and DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the years 1990, 1991, and 1994. He has also earned MRCOG and FRCOG from the Royal Coll. of Obstetrics and Gynecology, London, UK. Dr Ray was a meritorious student, which is further exhibited by his merit scholarship earned during MBBS from the government of West Bengal. The advancements in his knowledge are further seen through his participation and presentation of publications on topics like reduced fetal movement, hormonal contraception and antenatal corticosteroids.
