About Us

Dr. Sandeep Chauhan is a highly certified Orthopedic Surgeon with more than 30 years of professional experience. He is well?recognized for his specialization in hip and knee joint replacement, complex fracture reconstructions, musculoskeletal infections, peri-prosthetic fractures, etc. He integrates a comprehensive understanding of both traditional and innovative technologies, including Platelet-rich plasma injections, MIS, subvastus, and alternative bearings like ceramic, metal, and plastic for younger patients. After completing his MBBS from Shivaji Univ. in 1995, he also achieved an MS (Orthopedics) from PGIMS in 2000 and a DNB (Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery) from DDU Hosp. in 2002. Dr. Chauhan holds specialized advanced training in computer-assisted joint replacement surgeries and stands among the few surgeons in India who are experienced in conducting robotic joint replacement. He furthered his expertise through Joint Replacement fellowship advanced training under Dr. Brig BK Singh at Army Hosp. R&R, New Delhi, and Dr. C.S. Ranawat at the Hosp. for Special Surgery in New York. He serves as a visiting clinician at Mt. Sinai Hosp. Toronto and Mayo Clinic Rochester, USA, emphasizing successful clinical outcomes and comfortable rehabilitation. Dr. Chauhan is actively involved in research, with interests focusing on preventing and addressing infections in joint replacements, fixation of calcaneal fractures, and fractures in osteoporotic patients. He is a proud part of the Indian Orthopedic Association and Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
