Dr. Sanjay Mittal is a well?recognized Interventional Cardiologist with more than 36 years of professional experience. His expertise lies in Balloon Angioplasty Procedures, Angiography Procedures, Treatment of Hip Disorders, Heart Pacemaker, Stent Surgery, Bypass Surgery, Mitral Valve Replacement Surgery, etc. He obtained his MBBS from LLRM Medical Coll., Meerut Univ., 1988, MD (General Medicine) from LLRM Medical Coll., Meerut Univ., 1992, and DM (Cardiology), King George Medical Coll., Univ. of Lucknow, 1994. Dr. Mittal has also had extensive advanced training and professional experience working abroad at various hospitals, laboratories, and medical centers such as the Columbia Presbyterian Hosp. (New York), New England Medical Center (Boston), Echocardiography Lab (Cleveland), and institutes in other locations such as Buffalo, New Hampshire, Italy, Germany, etc. He has performed several clinical trials and has also had many of his publications published in peer-reviewed journals. He has attended a large number of national and international conferences, delivered over 200 guest lectures, and performed several workshops and advanced training programs. Further, he has served as involved in the organization of over 20 conferences and events in the field of Echocardiography, heart failure, clinical cardiology and research. Dr. Mittal played a pivotal role in establishing one of India's pioneer Heart Failure and Enhanced External Counterpulsation clinics. With participation in over 50 national and international clinical research projects and over 60 publications, he has served as a prolific investigator. He demonstrated leadership as he spearheaded the clinical research team at Escorts Heart Inst. and established an Academic Research Organization at Medanta - The Medicity. Dr. Mittal's contributions extend to setting up a Proof of Concept Unit at Medanta in collaboration with Duke Univ., showcasing his prowess in drug and device development as well as regulatory affairs. He is a part of numerous medical societies and professional organizations like the Indian Academy of Echocardiography, the Heart Failure Association of India, the Cardiological Society of India, the International Medical Science Academy, API, IMA, etc.
