Dr. Satish Rao Kalanje is a highly accomplished rheumatologist with 34 years of professional experience in providing exceptional care to patients suffering from various rheumatic conditions. Dr. Kalanje has specialization in diagnosing and managing a wide range of rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Sjögren's syndrome, vasculitis, and various connective tissue disorders. He employs a combination of medications, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications to alleviate symptoms and improve the overall quality of life of his patients. Dr. Kalanje holds an MBBS degree from Bangalore Medical Coll. and Research Inst. in 1990 and an MD in General Medicine from the Univ. of Missouri, USA. He has further specialized in rheumatology by obtaining a Diploma from the American Board of Internal Medicine and completing a prestigious Fellowship in Immunology and Rheumatology from Vikram Hosp. in Bangalore. Dr. Kalanje is a part of the Indian Rheumatology Association and the Indian Medical Association (Karnataka chapter).
