He received Times of India accolade for distinguished clinician in 2021. He is associated with many medical societies including the Indian Coll. of Physicians, the European Society of Cardiology, the American Coll. of Cardiology, and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions His keen interest in research resulted in the publication of 100 research publications in reputed national and international journals.
