Dr. Senthil Kumar is a highly esteemed Surgical Oncologist. He has an professional experience of more than 19 years. He is skilled in treating a wide range of malignancies, encompassing breast, gynecological, gastrointestinal, head and neck, soft tissue, urological, and thoracic cancers. His expertise includes performing breast conservation surgery, local flap reconstructions, and oncoplastic procedures. He routinely conducts sentinel lymph node biopsies for early breast cancers, facilitating immediate post-surgery arm movement. Dr. Kumar is skilled in cytoreductive surgeries for ovarian and endometrial cancers, laparoscopic gynecologic oncologic procedures, and fertility-preserving surgeries. He is skilled in performing Peritonectomy and HIPEC for peritoneal spread cancers, a rare achievement. He focuses on minimally invasive colorectal surgeries and sphincter-preservation rectal cancer procedures. Dr. Senthil completed his MBBS from Thoothukudi Medical Coll. and MS in General Surgery from Coimbatore Medical Coll.. After this, he also completed an MCh in Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hosp.. He was actively involved with the Voice of Tobacco Victims (VOTV), advocating cancer awareness and prevention. He holds a General Surgery gold medal and distinction in various subjects. He also participates in workshops and conferences and provides oral and poster presentations at international conferences. He is a part of prestigious associations, including the Association of Surgeons of India, European Society of Surgical Oncologists, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, Association of Breast Surgeons of India, Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, and Association of Gynecologic Oncologists of India.
