Dr. Shilanjan Roy is a highly qualified Cardiologist with a practice professional experience of 16 years. He has a rich professional experience in general and interventional cardiology with a special interest in less invasive methods. The expertise areas of Dr. Roy include: Non-invasive and invasive cardiology, including arrhythmia management, cardiac catheterization, doppler ultrasound, and cardiac ablation. comprehensive heart care, such as treatment for heart attacks, hypertension, heart infections, and cardiac rehabilitation, along with minimally invasive cardiac surgery. Advanced cardiovascular procedures, including carotid artery disease treatment, carotid stenting, and the implantation of cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) Dr. Shilanjan Roy focuses on angioplasty -PTCA, coronary angiogram, and CT coronary angiography. Dr. Roy earned his MBBS from Calcutta Univ. in 2008, followed by an MD in General Medicine in 2015 and a DM in Cardiology in 2018 from West Bengal Univ. of Health Sciences. He completed MRCP (UK) part II from the Royal Coll. of Physicians in the United Kingdom in 2020. Dr. Roy has an impressive academic background, having published in well?recognized medical journals and documenting his findings in the field of noninvasive cardiac imaging, minimally invasive surgical interventions, and treatment of acute coronary syndromes. He received the Best Cardiology Resident accolade from WBUHS in 2018. Dr. Roy is a part of the IMA, ACC and the ESC in order to ensure he continually updates his knowledge and skills of his specialism.
