• Dr. Shomeshwar Singh is a renowned ENT Surgeon with over 30 years of experience.
• His expertise lies in routine ENT surgeries such as Adeno tonsillectomy, septoplasty, FESS, laryngeal surgery, and other ear surgeries such as Tympanoplasty and Mastoidectomy.
• He has a significant portfolio of cochlear implant patients with documented exceptional outcomes.
• Dr. Singh leads one of the largest cochlear implant programs in India, showcasing his leadership in the field.
• His educational journey started with an MBBS and MS (ENT) from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, in 1994 and 1999, respectively.
• He further achieved DLO from the Royal College of Surgeons, England, 1999, FRCS (Otolaryngology) from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, 2001, and MD (Clinical Research - Cochlear Implants) from Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, 2005.
• He serves as a respected Trainer and Mentor Surgeon, contributing to the development of new Cochlear Implant Programs.
• Dr. Singh organizes the ACIC, an annual instructional course in Cochlear Implant surgery, demonstrating his commitment to education and skill development.
• Notably, he is the innovator behind See Sound Live (SSL), an innovative assistive technology aimed at empowering individuals with hearing impairments to communicate verbally.
• In recognition of his groundbreaking research, Dr. Singh was honored with multiple grants and the prestigious BIRAC Innovator Award in 2020, presented by the Vice President of India.
