Dr. Shyam Sundar is a well?recognized Neurosurgeon specializing in Neuroendoscopic and Neurovascular surgeries. He has an professional experience of more than 15 years in this field. His specialized areas encompass Neuroendoscopic surgeries for pituitary tumors, intricate skull-base surgery, and Neurovascular surgery focusing on aneurysms and AVMs. Dr. Shyam earned his MBBS in 1995 and subsequently completed his MS in General Surgery in 2000 and M.Ch in Neurosurgery in 2006 from Medical Coll. Hosp., Trivandrum. As a Sugita Scholar at Nagoya Univ. Japan in 2012, he received advanced training in Endoscopic Endonasal skull base surgeries at UPMC Pittsburgh, USA. Dr. Shyam's particular interest lies in highly advanced neurosurgical procedures for brain mapping, addressing brain and skull base tumors, and conducting awake surgeries.
