• Dr. Sidharth Kumar Sethi is a well-known Pediatric Nephrologist with over 22 years of experience.
• His primary areas of focus include acute kidney injury, dialysis, and pediatric renal transplantation.
• He actively participates in the treatment of children with various complex renal disorders, encompassing acute kidney injury, dialysis, nephrotic syndrome, tubular disorders, hypertension, chronic kidney disease (CKD), urinary tract infections, and renal transplantation.
• After completing his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, 2002, he also achieved MD (Pediatrics) from University College of Medical Sciences & GTB Hospital, New Delhi, 2006.
• He also achieved fellowships from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, 2008; Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, Los Angeles, California, 2009; American Society of Nephrology, 2018; and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, 2019.
• Dr. Sethi contributed to the development of Indian guidelines for Steroid Sensitive Nephrotic Syndrome as part of an 8-member writing committee and played a role in formulating guidelines for pediatric renal disorders, including Steroid Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome and urinary tract infections.
• With over 150 indexed publications in pediatric nephrology and chapters in esteemed nephrology textbooks, Dr. Sethi has established himself as a leading figure in the field.
• He serves on the Board of Directors for the PCRRT-ICONIC Foundation, dedicated to raising awareness and promoting education in critical care pediatric nephrology.
• Dr. Sethi serves as an Editor for Springer's Handbook of Critical Care Pediatric Nephrology & Pediatric Dialysis, co-authored with Dr. Bunchman, Dr. Raina, and Dr. McCulloch, and for Springer's Pediatric Solid Organ Transplantation- A Practical Handbook, co-authored with Dr. Shapiro, Dr. Sarwal, and Dr. Raina.
• In recognition of his exceptional contributions to Pediatric Nephrology, Dr. Sethi received an award from Case Western Reserve University in 2014.
• He is an esteemed member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), International Pediatric Hypertension Association (IPHA), American Society of Pediatric Nephrology (ASPN), and Asian Pediatric Nephrology Association (AsPNA).
