Dr. Smita Vats

About Us

Dr. Smita Vats is a highly skilled Obstetrician & Gynecologist with more than 25 years of professional experience in reproductive health. She focuses on treating bleeding disorders in women, menopause problems, high-risk pregnancies, and complicated gynecological surgeries, including hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures. She also offers consultations for contraception, IUI, infertility evaluation, and adolescent girl problems. Her educational qualifications include an MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical Coll., Ajmer, in 1999, a DNB (Obs/ Gynae) from Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hosp. & Medical Research Inst., Jaipur, Rajasthan, 2006, and a Diploma in Advanced Endoscopic Gynecological Surgeries, Giessen Univ., Germany, 2011. Dr. Vats also received advanced advanced training in Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery at Paul Hosp. Inst., Kochi, 2011, and a PG Diploma in Ultrasound (Abdomen and Obstetrics/Gynaecology). She is a a fellow of the Indian Council of Maternal and Child Health (ICMCH), 2014, and the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, 2019. She is an active part of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India, the Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Delhi, the Delhi Gynecologic Endoscopists Society, and the Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of India. Dr. Vats has co-authored a publication on "Reverse Uterine Closure Technique For Patients With Previous LSCS Having Thin Lower Uterine Segment," presented at the International Federation Of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in 2015.
