Dr. Somak Ghosh

About Us

Dr. Somak Ghosh is a proctologist, gastrointestinal laparoscopic surgeon, and oncologist with more than 20 years of professional experience in the field. His specializations include laser proctology, laser vascular surgery, and complex gastrointestinal, thyroid, breast, and oncosurgical procedures. He also offers treatment for piles, fistula, fissures, and other disorders of the colorectal region. He has performed numerous laparoscopic surgeries such as cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, etc. He is also skilled in colorectal, hepatobiliary, and endocrine surgeries. Dr. Ghosh completed his MBBS at the Inst. of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu Univ. in 2004. He completed his DNB in General Surgery at Calcutta Medical Research Inst., Kolkata in 2015. He holds a fellowship in minimal access surgery (FMAS) and is certified in laser proctology from Poland. He is a part of prestigious organizations such as the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) and the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS).
