Dr. Soumitra Roy is a well?recognized an expert in Neurosurgery with an astonishing career path of 37 years. He focuses on neurosurgery, concentrating on complex neurological disorders, which include brain tumor, brain vascular, spine, and trauma surgeries. Recognizing the benefits of minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Roy utilizes them whenever possible to minimize trauma, reduce recovery time, and optimize patient outcomes in spine and neurosurgery. Dr. Roy obtained his MBBS in 1986 from Sambalpur Univ., followed by an MS in General Surgery in 1993 from Gujarat Univ.. He then completed an MCh in NeuroSurgery in 1995 from the Univ. of Bombay. In particular, Dr. Roy contributed two theses to Gujarat Univ. on "Effect of Ranitidine on Prognosis of Simple Closure of Duodenal Ulcer Perforation" and the Univ. of Bombay on "Cervical Corpectomy with Bony Osteosynthesis-An Anterior Approach" as part of his academic research.
