Dr. Soumya Kanti Dutta

About Us

Dr. Soumya Kanti Dutta is a cardiologist and interventional cardiologist with more than 16 years of professional experience in cardiology and general medicine. He focuses on the management and treatment of congenital heart conditions, hypertension, coronary artery disease (CAD), heart valve disorders, etc. He has also performed many surgical procedures, such as coronary angioplasty, cardiac resynchronization, balloon valvuloplasty, pacemaker implantation, and many more. He is skilled in dealing with conditions such as arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, endocarditis, and other heart disorders. He gained his MBBS degree at Calcutta Univ. in Kolkata in 2008. He then pursued an MD in general medicine at Utkal Univ. in Odisha in 2013. He then obtained a DM in cardiology from the Inst. of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER) in Kolkata in 2018. Dr. Dutta was a topper in cardiology, and was awarded a gold medal. He is a a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. Dr. Dutta has contributed as an author in multiple medical research publications and articles published in prestigious journals such as ‘The British Journal of Radiology’ and the ‘Asian Journal of Medical Sciences.’ He is an active part of several reputed organizations, such as the Cardiological Society of India (CSI), the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and the American Coll. of Cardiology (ACC). Dr. Dutta was presented with an accolade for best publication presentation by the Cardiological Society of India in 2020.
