• His medical journey commenced with the completion of his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, in 1982.
• Following this, he pursued further specialization, achieving an MD (Ophthalmology) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 1987.
