• Dr. Suraj Bhagat is a highly experienced Medical Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with over 27 years of expertise.
• His special interests include comprehensive management of overweight/obesity, fatty liver, and metabolic syndrome (from lifestyle interventions to specialized endoscopy), luminal diseases (in particular, inflammatory bowel disease), and nutritional rehabilitation. 
• He is proficient in advanced endoscopic procedures, including therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP, and third space endoscopy as a therapeutic endoscopist.
• After completing his MBBS from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University, 1997, he also achieved an MD (Internal Medicine) from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, 2002, and a DM (Gastroenterology) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, 2009.
• Dr. Bhagat also achieved Membership in the Royal College of Physicians of the UK, a prestigious accomplishment.
• He is actively involved in teaching and research, with publications in reputable journals and textbooks.
• His specialized research includes an objective evaluation of Yoga techniques' effects on healthy individuals and disease management, particularly chronic intestinal diseases.
• Dr. Bhagat carries life memberships of the Royal College of Physicians of the UK, the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, and the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India.
• He is fluent in English and Hindi.
