Dr. Sushant Srivastava is a nationally well?recognized Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgeon with more than 30 years of professional experience. He focuses on Beating Heart Bypass Surgery, Single, Double, and Triple Valve Repairs and Replacements, Aortic Aneurysm Surgery (including Endovascular Repairs), and Complex Vascular Procedures on the Aorta, Carotid Arteries, and lower limb vessels. He gained national recognition for successfully performing a bypass surgery on a 96-year-old patient, setting a record for one of the oldest reported cases of this operation. He boasts a cumulative professional experience of over 10,000 cases, showcasing a wealth of specialization in the field. He played an active role in AIIMS's Heart Transplant and Ventricular Assist Device Program, taking charge of donor management. He assisted in the first and subsequent ten heart transplants in the country at AIIMS, demonstrating his integral involvement in pioneering cardiac procedures. After completing his MBBS from Artemis Hosp. in 1988, he also achieved an MS (General Surgery) from the Univ. of Bihar in 1991 and an MCh (Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery) from All India Inst. of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, 1994. His comprehensive advanced training at AIIMS has equipped him with a versatile skill set, making him equally skilled in Pediatric Cardiac surgery. He is a part of the Indian Association of Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery and the Indian Medical Association.
