About Us

Dr. Tanuka Dasgupta is a gynecologist with more than 16 years of professional experience. Her specializations include laparoscopy and infertility surgery. She offers treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, etc. She also performs procedures such as normal delivery, C-section delivery, cervical cerclage, endometrial ablation, Mirena insertion, etc. She provides fertility-preserving treatments like tubal clipping before IVF, removal of hydrosalpinx, fimbrioplasty, etc. She is an an expert in laparoscopic procedures like hysterectomy, myomectomy, and cystectomy. She is also trained in performing microsurgery for the removal of uterus, fibroid, and ovarian cysts. She completed her MBBS degree at Nil Ratan Sircar Medical Coll., Kolkata in 2007. She then completed her MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Calcutta Medical Coll. in 2011. She obtained a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2010. She holds a fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic Surgery from Paul’s Hosp., Kochi. She is trained in advanced retroperitoneal dissection, laparoscopic urogynaecology, ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound scanning (TVS), and basic infertility under several well?recognized doctors nationwide. She has publications in prestigious journals like the ‘Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology’ and the ‘Journal of Gynecologic Surgery.’ Dr. Dasgupta is a part of esteemed international and national organizations such as the Royal Coll. of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).
