Dr. Tapan Ghose

About Us

Dr. Tapan Ghose is one of the best-known Interventional Cardiologists in India. He brings over 30 years of professional experience in this field. Dr. Ghose focuses on coronary intervention, cardiac electrophysiology, and device implantation. He introduced the Trans radial angioplasty program at FHVK in 2006, the trans-radial primary PCI program in 2011 at FHVK, and later at Paras Hosp. in 2013. Dr. Tapan completed his MBBS from Silchar Medical Coll. in 1989. He completed his postgraduate at Assam Medical Coll., Dibrugarh, earning an MD (Medicine) degree in 1993. Additionally, he was awarded a DNB (Medicine) by the National Board of Examinations in the same year. Dr. Ghose furthered his specialization in cardiology, obtaining a DNB (Cardiology) in 2001 after successful advanced training at Batra Hosp. Medical Research Centre, New Delhi. He also received a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from the National Board in 2004. He holds memberships in prestigious medical societies, including a life membership in the Cardiological Society of India and a fellowship at the International Medical Sciences Academy. Furthermore, he is a a fellow of the American Coll. of Cardiology, Society of Cardiological Society of India, American Coll. of Cardiology, and Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, USA.
