Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan

About Us

Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan is a Surgical Oncologist with more than 16 years of professional experience. He focuses on Gastrointestinal, Hepatopancreaticobiliary Oncology, and Peritoneal Surface Malignancy (HIPEC). After completing his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical Coll., Indore, in 2008, he also achieved an MS (General Surgery) from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Univ. of Health Sciences Rohtak, 2012, and MCh (Surgical Oncology) from Gujarat Univ., India, 2018. Dr. Chauhan pursued specific interests in GI oncology and minimally invasive surgery through fellowships such as Prof. Marcus Buechler at Heidelberg (HPB oncology) and Dr. T. Subramaneshwar Rao at Indo–American Cancer Inst., Hyderabad (MIS). He was awarded the ESSO Fellowship in Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC at Lyon, France, under Prof. Olivier Glehen. He is credited with numerous publications in esteemed journals. He has presented publications at various national and international conferences. Dr. Chauhan holds memberships of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), Indian Society of Peritoneal Surface Malignancy (ISPSM), Indian Society of Oncology (ISO), Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI), European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO-US), European Association of Hepatopancreatobiliary Oncology (EHPBA), and the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (CRSA).
