Dr. Tapas Chatterjee is a well?recognized Neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery with a successful 30-year of professional experience. Dr. Chatterjee is adept at performing an extensive range of advanced neurosurgical procedures. These include carotid endarterectomy, cerebral angioplasty, and therapy for brain aneurysms. During his career, he worked extensively in the United Kingdom as a neurosurgeon and a part of the National Health Service (NHS). His specializations include treating head injuries and cranial tumors and performing intricate spine surgeries. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the Univ. of Calcutta in the year 1994 and 1999, respectively. In 2003, Dr. Chatterjee furthered his education by earning an MCh in Neurosurgery from the Univ. of Calcutta. He has served as an active neurosurgical part of the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK.
