Dr. Udgeath Dhir

About Us

Dr. Udgeath Dhir is a celebrated Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Surgeon in India. He has 24 years of rich professional experience in treating patients with various cardiac issues. Dr. Udgeath has completed over 7500 surgeries to date. He received formal advanced training under Dr. Taweseeak for Rheumatic Mitral valve repair at Central Chest Inst., Bangkok, and recently underwent advanced training for TAVI. He focuses on a wide range of Adult Cardiac Surgery, particularly Total Arterial Bypass Surgery, Minimally Invasive Valvular, Coronary and congenital heart Surgery, Heart Failure Surgery, Ventricular Assist Devices, Cardiac Transplants, and Arrhythmia Surgery. He did his MBBS from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Univ., Agra, in 2000. Later, he pursued an MS (General Surgery) from King George Medical Univ. in 2004 and an MCh (Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery) from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Inst. of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, in 2009. He is a part of various professional associations, including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), the European Association of Cardio Thoracic Surgeons (EACTS), and the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (ISMICS). Dr. Dhir has contributed to leading journals and authored chapters in Cardiac Surgery textbooks. He was honored with the Best publication Presentation at the International Coronary Congress.
