Dr. V S Chauhan is a Laparoscopic Surgeon with more than 23 years of rich professional experience in General, GI & Bariatric Surgery. His special interest areas are Laparoscopic Thyroid surgery and Lasers for Varicose veins. He has successfully performed over 15000 laparoscopic surgeries. He is also the LIMCA BOOK record holder for removing the World’s Largest Spleen & has also been awarded the Prestigious DAVIES TRAVEL Fellowship of The Royal Coll. for advanced training in Cancer at Leipzig, Germany. Dr. Chauhan is one of the few surgeons in Faridabad, who is performing laser and radiofrequency ablation for Varicose Vein and Haemorrhoids. He completed his MBBS from Banaras Hindu Univ. in 2001 and MS in General Surgery from the Inst. of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu Univ. (IMS-BHU) in 2004. He received a Fellowship from the American Coll. of Surgeons (FACS), USA, a Fellowship from the Royal Coll. of Surgeons (FRCS), Glasgow, a Fellowship of Association of Indian Surgeons (FAIS), Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS), Fellowship of the International Coll. of Laparoscopic Surgeons (FCLS), Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (FIAGES), Fellowship of the International Coll. of Surgeons (FICS), and Fellowship of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS). Dr. Chauhan is a part of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Uttar Pradesh Medical Council, and Medical Council of India (MCI).
