Dr. Veerabhadra Gupta is a well?recognized and leading Nephrologist in India. He brings over 28 years of professional experience in this field. His specializations include Renal transplantation(live and Cadaveric transplants), Chronic Kidney disease, Acute Kidney Injury, Critical Care Nephrology, Preventive and Palliative Nephrology, and Onconephrology. He obtained his MBBS from Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical Coll. (JJMMC) and MD in General Medicine from Kuvempu Univ.. After this, he completed a DM in Nephrology from B J Medical Coll., Ahmedabad. Dr. Gupta's extensive career boasts significant specialization in Renal Transplantation, having performed over 2000 procedures, including those involving deceased donor transplants in highly sensitized patients, pediatric transplants, ABO-incompatible transplants, and dual organ transplants. He also possesses vast professional experience in Critical Care Nephrology and General Nephrology, encompassing areas such as Geriatric Nephrology, CAPD, Preventive Nephrology, and Glomerulonephritis. A part of prominent organizations like the Nephrology Association of Karnataka (NAK), the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN), the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT), and the International Society of Nephrology, Dr. Gupta has served as the primary investigator for various national and international clinical trials. He has served as honored with the Rotary Service accolade and the Doctor's Day accolade from the Lions Club of Bangalore. Dr. Gupta pursued advanced advanced training in Transplantation and Nephrology at the Asan Medical Centre, Seoul, South Korea, and Harvard Univ., Boston, respectively.
