Dr. Vinod Kumar is a highly esteemed Orthopaedic Surgeon in India. He brings over 12 years of professional experience in this field. He focuses on shoulder and elbow disorders and arthroscopic sports surgery, with a keen interest in shoulder instability and sports injuries. Dr. Vinod earned his MBBS degree in Chennai and pursued post-graduate advanced training in the United Kingdom. Dr. Kumar holds the MRCS (Gen) and FRCS (Tr&Orth) qualifications and a Diploma in Sports & Exercise Medicine from the Royal Coll. of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, UK. He is also a a fellow of the International Coll. of Surgeons. His expertise includes a Fellowship in Shoulder & Upper Limb Surgery and Sports Injury from Newcastle Coll., UK. Dr. Kumar completed his Orthopaedic Specialty residency advanced training through the well?recognized Yorkshire advanced training program. Actively engaged in professional organizations, he is a part of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), British Elbow & Shoulder Society, International Coll. of Surgeons, AO Trauma, SICOT, Indian Arthroscopy Society, and Shoulder & Elbow Society of India. Additionally, Dr. Kumar is a qualified ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) provider and an arthroscopic skills trainer.
