About Us

Dr. Virbhan Balai is a Senior Interventional Cardiologist in New Delhi with more than 32 years of professional experience. He is a highly trained, board-certified Interventional Cardiologist specializing in structural heart diseases. He is known for performing complex interventions, including LM stenting, Rota ablation, Pacemaker implantation, complex arrhythmia ablation, device closure for heart defects, and advanced cardiovascular procedures. His expertise lies in Primary PCI, Complex PTCA, PTCA in calcific coronary arteries, and various other cardiac procedures. After completing his MBBS from VMMC and Safdarjung Hosp., Delhi, 2008, he also achieved DLO from VMMC and Safdarjung Hosp., Delhi, 2010, and MD (General Medicine) from PGIMER and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hosp., New Delhi, 2013. Furthering his education, Dr. Balai completed a DNB (Cardiology) from the National Heart Inst., New Delhi, in 2018 and his FNB (Interventional Cardiology) from Max Super Specialty Hosp., Delhi, in 2021. He was awarded the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Health accolade in 2023 for outstanding efforts. He is an active part of the American Coll. of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, Society of Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention (USA), Asia Pacific Vascular Society, Cardiological Society of India, Association of Physicians of India, and Indian Academy of ECHO, Delhi. Dr. Balai is an author of widely recognized peer-reviewed journals and academic publications. He actively participates in seminars and conferences on cardiology updates. He is regularly invited as guest faculty at national and international conferences. He is fluent in Hindi and English.
