Dr. Virender K Sheorain is a globally well?recognized Peripheral Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with more than 24 years of professional experience. He focuses on treating a spectrum of vascular disorders encompassing arterial conditions such as Diabetic foot, Gangrene, and Venous diseases, including Varicose Veins, DVT, and leg swelling. He is skilled in managing Vascular Malformation, AVM, and hemangioma in both children and adults through Embolization techniques. He pioneered fistuloplasty techniques for preserving AV fistula utilized in dialysis, and he has extensive specialization in Permacath placement. Dr. Sheorain is highly skilled in addressing Fibroids in the uterus through minimally invasive procedures like Uterine artery embolization, eliminating the need for open surgery. He focuses on Varicocele treatment using non-surgical Embolization methods, having performed a significant number of procedures in this domain. He is a recognized authority in Carotid stenting and IVC filter removal procedures. He is an innovator in introducing novel techniques such as PAE for Prostate enlargement (BPH) and GAE for alleviating conditions like Knee joint Pain, Frozen shoulder, Planter fasciitis, and Tennis elbow. After completing his MBBS from NKP Slave Inst. of Medical Sciences, Nagpur, 2000, he also achieved MD (Radio Diagnosis/Radiology) from Govt. Medical Coll., Nagpur, 2007. Dr. Sheorain also earned a Fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology (FVIR) from the Univ. of Texas in 2009, a Fellowship in Neuroradiology from George Washington Univ. in 2010, and a Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology from the Univ. of Tennessee Health Science Centre in 2011. He holds advanced training credentials from prestigious institutions such as AIIMS, New Delhi, and well?recognized universities in the USA, including George Washington Univ., Univ. of Texas, and Univ. of Tennessee. He is an esteemed part of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (ISVIR), Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), Cardiovascular & Interventional Society of Europe (CIRSE), and Vascular Society of India (VSI).
