Dr. Vivek Jawali is a well?recognized and widely experienced Cardiac Surgeon in India. He brings over 48 years of professional experience in the field. His expertise encompasses various procedures, including laparoscopic surgery, cardiac ablation, and coronary angiogram. With over 18,000 cardiothoracic & vascular surgeries under his belt, Dr. Jawali is a seasoned practitioner. He achieved significant milestones in Indian cardiac surgery history, such as performing the country's first beating heart bypass surgery in 1992 and the first minimally invasive bypass surgery in 1994. Pioneering Awake cardiac surgery in India in 1999, Dr. Jawali has consistently pushed the boundaries of medical practice. His contributions have been recognized with prestigious accolades like the BC Roy accolade for medical excellence. Dr. Vivek Jawali's academic journey includes an MBBS from MR Medical Coll. Gulbarga Karnataka in 1974 and an MS in General Surgery from Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical Coll. in 1980. He completed his MCh from GS Medical Coll. & KEM Hosp. in 1984 and his DNB from the National Board of Examination in 1981. Presently, he holds memberships in prominent medical associations, including the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons, and serves as the Vice President of the Indian Medical Association and IACTS.
