Dr. R.N Bhattacharya is a well-well?recognized and widely experienced Neurosurgeon located in Kolkata. He has an extensive professional experience of more than 51 years in this field. His specialization encompasses the treatment of various neurological conditions including Epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, Dementias, Stroke, Migraine, Parkinson's disease, and more. He is India’s first neurosurgeon to perform a complete removal of acoustic neurons with facial nerve prevention. Dr. Bhattacharya obtained his MBBS degree from Ranchi Univ. and pursued MS in General Surgery and MCh from the esteemed Banaras Hindu Univ.. Dr. Bhattacharya is frequently invited as a guest speaker at scientific meetings, Continuing Medical Education (CME) events, and global conferences to discuss neurological disorders. He has performed over 400 surgeries for arteriovenous malformations, surpassing the count of any other Indian neurosurgeon. Additionally, he has successfully operated on over 2000 aneurysms, achieving results that are internationally comparable. He held the position of President in prominent neurological organizations such as the Cerebrovascular Surgery Society of India and the Neurological Society of India (Kerala Chapter), in addition to serving as an Executive part of Neurological Society of India. His keen interest in research resulted in the publication of numerous research publications in reputed national and international journals.
